What really Makes a Blog Network Successful?
I’ve been going over this in my head for the past few days and questioning what really makes a blog network. So many have failed in the past (just like so many business ideas I guess), two questions really come to mind.
1. Will people read the blog’s?
2. What pay scale is right for the blogger?
People will read blogs if the content is of interest that’s just a given.
Some networks pay blogger a flat rate per blog (weblogs, Gawker) but both of these have the backing for the big boys like AOL (former employer), other networks pay a percentage (search9media, b5media) and I’m sure lots of others.
In the first month and a half after launch most of the focus has been on getting the business launched. The focus from now must be on content (without that we have no readers) and compensation levels for bloggers.

We’ve been considering adding this site for a while to the network , the idea behind the site it to give advise and help you (maybe) find a better job or even a first job at that.
